Ever since the implementation of sexual education in society, there has been a strong concern for public health. As a result, the typical sexual pedagogy has targeted the negative aspects of sex such as the risk of STDs, HIV, and pregnancy.

While understanding these basics is important, too much attention has resulted in the exclusion of other crucial information such as pleasure and orientation. This has caused a spread of incomplete and often misleading ideas which has consistently left many to feel confused, isolated, and sexually ashamed.
