What’s your current relationship status? How do you feel about it?

I’m engaged to my long-time partner! I feel excited, nervous, and stressed about planning the wedding, but overall happy that we’re coming together in this way. 

If you were a sex ed teacher, what would you make sure your students knew?

If I were a sex ed teacher, I would stress the importance of consent. I would also want to make sure that students know it’s ok to have sex if both people feel comfortable, and that it’s also ok not to have sex in high school. Basically, don’t feel pressured by anyone to have sex, and don’t feel ashamed for having sex.

When did you first start dating?

My first date was junior year prom in high school. I took a boy from another school who I thought was cute. We didn’t know each other but had friends in common. He was a perfect gentleman but didn’t fall in love or kiss me, so I thought the date must have been a bust. 

What’s one thing you wish you knew about dating or relationships when you first started?

Most dates are to get to know each other and that it’s very rare and unlikely that you’ll have an instant love connection. 

You had a first date that didn’t go anywhere: Would you prefer to receive a text letting you down, or would you rather be ghosted?

I’d send a text letting someone know I wasn’t feeling it, and I’d rather receive a text as well. It’s the mature thing to do, and it saves both people time! 

When do you feel your sexiest?

I feel my sexiest when I’m wearing lingerie.

How do you feel about sex on the first date?

I'm someone who needs to know the person and feel secure with them before having sex, so I wouldn't feel comfortable having sex on the first date. But I'd never shame or judge anyone for having sex on the first date. If both people are feeling it, then go for it! 

What is your favorite pop culture relationship?

I love Tom Holland and Zendaya! They seem down to earth, fun, and like they are really into each other. It also seems like they don’t take themselves too seriously, which I love.
