Visuals Off, Imagination On
This Month’s Buzz
July is hot—and not just the weather. It also happens to be the sexiest month of the year, with couples reportedly getting it on an average of four times a week.
Why? Warmer weather, longer summer days, and good vibes. And probably… a little less stress.
Let this be a powerful reminder that stress kills sex—but presence, play, and pleasure bring it back to life.
Now onto this month: We’re diving into Quinn (the erotic audio app), recapping the NYC Pride Parade, and spotlighting a few key BTBz highlights. Let’s get into it.

This Week’s Wisdom
“Desire begins in the mind—let it wander.”
Our Simple Pleasure
Quinn – The Erotic Audio Platform
Sex ruts are healthy and normal, but in order to break them, you have to take action. Thats why I decided to redownload Quinn—an app I’d only tried once or twice before—and honestly, it was a great decision. There’s something about audio that just hits differently. It turns on your mind in a way visuals never could.
There’s a certain thrill in simply sitting and listening to erotic audio—anywhere, anytime. It adds a lowkey edge that shifts your brain into a more curious, desire-driven space. For me, it helped break the cycle of habit-based pleasure and reconnect me with a sense of exploration. And I’m definitely not the only one.
Quinn’s audience is over 70% women, mostly between the ages of 18 and 35, all tuning in to voice-led, story-driven intimacy. And did I mention celebrities are diving into this art form as well? Here’s a few you can listen to:
• Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy, and yes, the naked art scene in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants).
• Andrew Scott, aka the “Hot Priest” from Fleabag.
• Thomas Doherty, known for Gossip Girl (the reboot) and Tell Me Lies.
• Jamie Campbell Bower, our personal favorite—who plays the villain, Vecna, in Stranger Things.
Note: There are noticeably fewer female celeb names on the list. This raises a few questions—is that from cultural shame? an audience imbalance? or a content gap just waiting to be filled?
Either way, there are still lesser-known femme voices on Quinn bringing intimacy to life. If you’re ready to turn yourself on differently this summer, we highly recommend giving it a listen.
The Naked Truth
This year, NYC Pride marched on June 29—and its always such a fun and lively day. However, while watching I noticed something a little sad. It seemed… emptier. After a quick google search here’s what I found:
• NYC Pride faced a $750K budget shortfall this year.
• Major sponsors like Mastercard, PepsiCo, Citigroup, Nissan, and PwC either pulled out or significantly scaled back.
• 39% of Fortune 1000 companies have reduced or eliminated Pride sponsorships, citing political pressure around DEI and backlash under our new world with Trump.
• Even brands known for rainbow-washing backed off this year—quietly, but clearly.
On the positive, the pride supporters certainly showed up. While the corporate presence was much smaller, the gaps were filled by local groups, queer-owned businesses, and grassroots energy. Pride isn’t about the budget or the brand—it’s about the people who keep showing up no matter what.
The Must-Have Product
I ran into my friend Stephanie, co-founder of Personal Fav, this week—and it was the perfect reminder of just how next-level their pleasure oil, Pique, really is.
Warm a few drops of the CBD-infused oil between your hands. Whether you’re indulging solo or sharing the moment with a partner, let your touch be guided by curiosity. It’s oil-based, so skip the latex—but say yes to deeper connection, softer skin, and heightened pleasure. Check it out here.
Play for Your Pleasure
Have you heard about our card game, The Pleasure is Mine? With three categories—Learn, Think, Act—players are guided through lessons, reflection, and practical steps to experience new kinds of pleasure.
We’re sharing a sneak peek from the deck just for you, our newsletter readers. This week’s card is from the Think category: What sex moves do you revert to time and time again? Are they still satisfying? Why or why not?
